Let's compare Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 with Olympus PEN E-PL1. These models are included in the Entry-Level Mirrorless cameras. Panasonic G5 was released in 2012, and Olympus E-PL1 in 2010. Lumix DMC-G5 is newer, which is a plus. PEN E-PL1 2 years older. However 2 years, the difference is not so bad.
The sensor resolution of Lumix DMC-G5 is greater than that of PEN E-PL1. However, the difference of 4 MP is not very significant.
