Olympus SP-800 UZ with Canon EOS M Overview

Let's compare Canon EOS M with Olympus SP-800 UZ. The first model related to Entry-Level Mirrorless, the second to Small Sensor Superzoom cameras. Canon M was released in 2012, and Olympus SP-800 UZ in 2010. EOS M is newer, which is a plus. SP-800 UZ 2 years older. However 2 years, the difference is not so bad.
The sensor resolution of EOS M is greater than that of SP-800 UZ. However, the difference of 4 MP is not very significant. The more megapixels the camera has, the more detailed and clear the picture will be. The number of megapixels will also affect the maximum size of the photos, which then can be printed without loss of quality.
At the first camera (EOS M), the minimum ISO value is lower, which gives more opportunities for shooting in daylight. A larger maximum ISO allows you to take good pictures in the dark. At Canon M, the maximum ISO is greater by 9600. SP-800 UZ has image stabilization(Sensor-shift), EOS M doesn’t, it is a big minus. Both cameras feature a 3-inch fixed screen.
Burst mode, also called continuous shooting mode, sports mode or continuous high speed mode, is a shooting mode in still cameras. Canon EOS M has 10.0 fps continuous shooting. Canon EOS M has 10.0 fps continuous shooting.
