These models are included in the Small Sensor Compact cameras.
Samsung TL500 was released in 2010, and Casio EX-FC100 in 2009.
TL500 is newer, which is a plus. Exilim EX-FC100 1 years older.
However 1 years, the difference is not so bad.
The sensor resolution of TL500 is greater than that of Exilim EX-FC100. However, the difference of 1 MP is not very significant.
The more megapixels the camera has, the more detailed and clear the picture will be. The number of megapixels will also affect the maximum size of the photos, which then can be printed without loss of quality.

Both cameras have Optical image stabilization.
Samsung TL500 has a larger 3-inch Articulated screen, the other camera has a 2-inch Fixed screen.
