Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 with Samsung PL120 Overview

Let's compare Samsung PL120 with Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25. The first model related to Ultracompact, the second to Small Sensor Compact cameras. Samsung PL120 was released in 2011, and Panasonic FS25 in 2009. PL120 is newer, which is a plus. Lumix DMC-FS25 2 years older. However 2 years, the difference is not so bad.
The sensor resolution of PL120 is greater than that of Lumix DMC-FS25. However, the difference of 2 MP is not very significant. The more megapixels the camera has, the more detailed and clear the picture will be. The number of megapixels will also affect the maximum size of the photos, which then can be printed without loss of quality.
At the second camera (Lumix DMC-FS25), the minimum ISO value is lower, which gives more opportunities for shooting in daylight. A larger maximum ISO allows you to take good pictures in the dark. At Samsung PL120, the maximum ISO is greater by 1600. Lumix DMC-FS25 has image stabilization(Optical), PL120 doesn’t, it is a big minus. Panasonic FS25 has a larger 3-inch Fixed screen, the other camera has a 2-inch Fixed screen.
Samsung PL120 has 2.0 fps continuous shooting.
