Olympus XZ-1 with Ricoh CX1 Overview

Let's compare Ricoh CX1 with Olympus XZ-1. These models are included in the Small Sensor Compact cameras. Ricoh CX1 was released in 2009, and Olympus XZ-1 in 2011. XZ-1 is newer, which is a plus. CX1 2 years older.
The sensor resolution of CX1 is greater than that of XZ-1. However, the difference of 1 MP is not very significant. The more megapixels the camera has, the more detailed and clear the picture will be. The number of megapixels will also affect the maximum size of the photos, which then can be printed without loss of quality.
At the second camera (XZ-1), the minimum ISO value is lower, which gives more opportunities for shooting in daylight. A larger maximum ISO allows you to take good pictures in the dark. At Olympus XZ-1, the maximum ISO is greater by 4800. Both cameras have Sensor-shift image stabilization. Both cameras feature a 3-inch fixed screen.
XZ-1 has electronic (optional) viewfinder, and the CX1 doesn’t have. All viewfinders has no electronic viewfinderk dot resolution. Ricoh CX1 has 2.0 fps continuous shooting.
