Let's compare Nikon D3500 with Olympus PEN E-PM2. The first model related to Entry-Level DSLR, the second to Entry-Level Mirrorless cameras. Nikon D3500 was released in 2018, and Olympus E-PM2 in 2013. D3500 is newer, which is a plus. PEN E-PM2 5 years older. 5 years, this is a pretty big age difference.
