Sigma DP2s with Leica X2 Overview
Let's compare Leica X2 with Sigma DP2s.
These models are included in the Large Sensor Compact cameras.
Leica X2 was released in 2012, and Sigma DP2s in 2010.
X2 is newer, which is a plus. DP2s 2 years older.
However 2 years, the difference is not so bad.
The sensor resolution of X2 is greater than that of DP2s. The difference of 11 MP is quite a lot.
The more megapixels the camera has, the more detailed and clear the picture will be. The number of megapixels will also affect the maximum size of the photos, which then can be printed without loss of quality.
At the first camera (X2), the minimum ISO value is lower, which gives more opportunities for shooting in daylight.
A larger maximum ISO allows you to take good pictures in the dark.
At Leica X2, the maximum ISO is greater by 9300.
Both cameras feature a 2-inch fixed screen.
X2 has electronic (optional) viewfinder, and the DP2s doesn’t have.
All viewfinders has no electronic viewfinderk dot resolution.
Burst mode, also called continuous shooting mode, sports mode or continuous high speed mode, is a shooting mode in still cameras. Leica X2 has 3.0 fps continuous shooting.
Leica X2 has 3.0 fps continuous shooting.
