Leica V-Lux 4 with Leica V-Lux 5 Overview

Let's compare V-Lux 5 with V-Lux 4. Both cameras produced Leica. The first model related to Large Sensor Superzoom, the second to Small Sensor Superzoom cameras. Leica V-Lux 5 was released in 2020, and Leica V-Lux 4 in 2012. V-Lux 5 is newer, which is a plus. V-Lux 4 8 years older. 8 years, this is a pretty big age difference.
The sensor resolution of V-Lux 5 is greater than that of V-Lux 4. The difference of 8 MP is quite a lot. The more megapixels the camera has, the more detailed and clear the picture will be. The number of megapixels will also affect the maximum size of the photos, which then can be printed without loss of quality.
At the second camera (V-Lux 4), the minimum ISO value is lower, which gives more opportunities for shooting in daylight. A larger maximum ISO allows you to take good pictures in the dark. At Leica V-Lux 5, the maximum ISO is greater by 9300. V-Lux 4 has image stabilization(Optical), V-Lux 5 doesn’t, it is a big minus. Both cameras feature a 3-inch articulated screen.
Both cameras have a electronic viewfinder. Viewfinder V-Lux 5 has a higher resolution of 2360k dots, V-Lux 4 has a resolution of 1312k dots. Burst mode, also called continuous shooting mode, sports mode or continuous high speed mode, is a shooting mode in still cameras. Leica V-Lux 5 has 12.0 fps continuous shooting. Leica V-Lux 5 has 12.0 fps continuous shooting.
